William Wald, Jr. | William Wald, Jr., the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wald of Maple Avenue, Delanco. Bill was a graduate of Palmyra High School and was employed by Keystone Watch Case after graduation. He joined the service on September 20, 1944 for WWII and trained at Ft. McClellan, Alabama. He went overseas February 18, 1945 to fight in the 10th Armored Infantry Battalion of General George Patton's 3rd Army. He was wounded twice and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Infantry Combat Badge. He earned the rank of PFC. | US Army PFC | WWII | ? |
